Just move. Open the Claim tab and your territory grows automatically as you walk — there’s no start/stop button. Free land becomes yours as you pass through it.
Tap a red tile on the Claim map and press “Start takeover.” Then physically walk onto those tiles to capture them — you’ll see live progress and the distance to the nearest one.
Other players occasionally take a chunk of your land — you’ll get a notification and the lost tiles flash red. Tap “take back” and walk over to reclaim them.
Tap the camera, point it at a real animal, and Outroam identifies it and logs it for points. Tap any species card to read more about it.
To reveal the map, grow your territory, and show nearby places. We use “When In Use” only and never share where you walked — only coverage counts and percentages. See our Privacy Policy.
Profile → “Reset guest session.” To fully clear local data, delete and reinstall the app.
Outroam sends local reminders (e.g., when your territory is under threat). You can turn them off anytime in iOS Settings → Outroam → Notifications.
